The data
Where does the data come from?
From public sources: online maps and business directories, the businesses' own websites and their public social profiles. We cross-check them, clean them and keep only professional contact details. Only businesses are listed, never private individuals.
What is in a record?
Business name, trade, Google category, full address, postal code, city, region, phone number, email, website, Instagram account, Google rating, number of reviews and Google Place ID. Not every business has every field: the search shows which ones are available before you pay.
How fresh is the data?
New businesses are collected every day and the database is refreshed regularly. Each refresh also updates phone numbers, websites and ratings of businesses already listed.
Which countries are covered?
France and Belgium today: restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, beauty salons, tradespeople, hotels and more, in more than 30,000 cities. More countries are coming.
Why do some businesses have no phone or email?
Some listings simply do not publish one. Records with neither a phone number nor an email are shown in the results and never cost a credit.
Using the leads
Can I email the businesses from Prospya?
Yes. Run a search, click Email these businesses, write one email (from a template or with the AI writer) and send it. Each email is personalised with the business name and city, includes an unsubscribe link, and goes out gradually so it is delivered. Replies land in your own mailbox and the businesses move to Contacted in your CRM.
How do I export my leads?
Select the records you want, or export the first results of a search, and download a CSV file. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, and imports into HubSpot, Pipedrive, Brevo, Lemlist or any CRM.
Who uses Prospya?
Web agencies looking for businesses without a website, SaaS and B2B sales teams, suppliers and wholesalers covering a delivery area, recruiters, and anyone building local partnerships.
Can Prospya write my first message?
Yes. For any business you unlocked, the AI writes a cold email, an Instagram DM or a call script in French or English, based on what you sell and on real facts about the business (rating, reviews, missing website). Included in every account, up to 30 messages a day.
Can I track who I contacted?
Yes. In My leads, give each business a status (to contact, contacted, interested, client, not interested) and a note. Filter by status and export it to CSV with your notes.
Can I enrich a list I already have?
Yes. Upload a CSV of phone numbers, emails or websites: we find each business and add its name, trade, address, contacts, Instagram and rating. You see the matches before paying 1 credit per business found.
Can I search in French?
Yes. "plombier lyon" and "plumber lyon" give the same results, and you can also pick a trade and a city from the lists.
Credits & pricing
What costs a credit?
Revealing a record that has a phone number or an email costs 1 credit. Records with neither are free, and a record you already unlocked never costs again, whether you view it or export it.
Do credits expire? Is there a subscription?
No subscription and no expiry. You buy a pack once and use the credits whenever you want.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Searching and filtering are free, and you get 25 free credits when you create an account. No credit card is needed.
What if a phone number or email is wrong?
If both the phone number and the email of a record are invalid, tell us and we refund the credit.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, an invoice is emailed with every purchase. For a company invoice with your VAT number, contact us.
Legal & GDPR
Is it legal to contact these businesses?
B2B prospecting is allowed in the EU when the message is relevant to the business and offers an easy way to opt out. You remain responsible for your campaigns: honour opt-outs and local rules, such as do-not-call lists for phone canvassing.
How is personal data handled?
Business contact details can be personal data when they name a person. We process them on the basis of legitimate interest for B2B prospecting, list only public professional details, and remove any business that objects. Details in our privacy policy.
I own a listed business. How do I remove it?
Use the removal form. Your business is hidden from search right away and deleted from the database at the next refresh.
