Privacy & GDPR
What data do we list?
Prospya lists businesses (shops, restaurants, tradespeople): trading name, business category, business address, phone number, website, Instagram account, public Google rating and review count, and the contact email published by the business. We do not collect data about private individuals or any sensitive data.
Sources
Publicly accessible business listings and the businesses' own websites.
Purpose and legal basis
Providing a B2B prospecting database. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Customers agree to only contact businesses about matters related to their professional activity, with an easy way to opt out.
Your rights
Anyone concerned can exercise their rights of access, rectification and objection. Removing a business is immediate from the Remove my business page. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (CNIL in France).
Retention
Records are refreshed as our sources change. A business that asks to be removed disappears from search at once and is deleted from the database at the next daily update.
Customer accounts
For Prospya customers we store the account email, a hashed password, the optional company name, the credit history and the unlocked records, for as long as the account exists. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers. We use one session cookie to keep you logged in, and no advertising trackers.
